Ying Chen '28
Ying is concentrating in General Biology and plans to attend medical school after graduation. Last summer, she volunteered at Calvary Hospital and worked as a Social Resource Navigator for Cayuga Health. This summer she will be participating in a summer research program at Weill Cornell Medicine. Ying is conducting research in the August Lab at Cornell, where she studies how ITK inhibition affects the Th17/Treg ratio in mice. She is also a study group leader for the Biology Scholars Program and the pre-med student ambassador for the Pre-Professional Program (P3). In her free-time, Ying enjoys crocheting, collecting stationery, and watching psychological thriller movies.
