Julia Carrea '28

Julia is a Biological Sciences major in CALS with a concentration in General Biology and a minor in Global Health. After graduation, she plans to attend medical school. On campus, she is involved in The Steminist Movement, Startup Consulting at Cornell, and works as an undergraduate research assistant in the VanderVen Lab. This past summer, she interned in a dermatology research lab at Weill Cornell Medicine. Her favorite course at Cornell has been ENTOM 2100. In her free time, she enjoys baking, skiing, and playing tennis!

Her words of advice for incoming students are

“Always remember that you are here for a reason. Even when classes get difficult and you feel overwhelmed, you are never alone. Trust that everything will fall into place! Also, don't be afraid to try anything and everything. It's the best way to find your community! !”
