Ponthea Shojaian '28
Ponthea Shojaian is an undergraduate student with strong interests in evolutionary biology and neurobiology. She has extensive experience with coursework and exams in biology and chemistry, including topics such as calculus, neurobiology, molecular biology, and experimental data analysis. Ponthea has written research proposals, completed laboratory experiments, and synthesized complex scientific concepts under time pressure, reflecting both analytical rigor and academic resilience.
Beyond academics, she is thoughtful, self-reflective, and values clear communication in both professional and personal contexts. She is exploring future careers in veterinary science and physical therapy, motivated by an interest in health, biology, and helping others through applied science.
