Shekib is a senior studying biological sciences and concentrating in molecular and cell bio. He plans to attend medical school after a gap year post graduation. During the Summer, he worked as a medical scribe at the CMC ED and also worked throughout the fall semester. Shekib is currently in the DiTommaso Lab and involved in agrovoltaic projects regarding soybeans/drybeans and lettuce. At Cornell, Shekib is involved in ACS and United Way. Shekib also founded his own club, Dementa Arts Therapy Alliance (DATA). In his freetime, Shekib loves to play video games, sleep, eat, and go to the gym.

His advice for new students:

"Don't overdo it on your first semester. Take it easy, try to make new friends, and also join clubs. Don't worry if you can't find your group of people quickly, you'll find them eventually!"
