Joy Mello '26

Joy is a transfer student concentrating in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. She is interested in natural history and enjoys spending time at the Museum of Vertebrates preparing specimens for the ornithology collection. She is an active member of the Birding Club, Herpetological Society, and plays for the Women's Club Ice Hockey team. In her free time, she enjoys birding, wildlife photography, backpacking, knitting, board games, and tinkering with computers.

Advice to new students:

Don't be afraid to try new things! Try new things to see what you have interest in.
