Arjun Anugole '28

Arjun Anugole is a sophomore computational biology concentrator in the College of Arts & Sciences. After graduating from Cornell, he plans on attending medical school and conducting clinical cancer research. He is currently a member of the Smolka Lab, investigating the role of PPM1G in ATR response to DNA damage and replication stress through the development of a PPM1G conditional knockout mouse. This past summer, Arjun conducted cancer research on Small Molecule Activators of PP2A as a potential therapeutic tumor suppressor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Arjun is a TA for CHEM 2070 and is involved in Cornell Policy Group, GlobeMed, and the Alpha Iota Gamma professional healthcare fraternity. In his free time, Arjun enjoys tennis, martial arts, and dance.

College can be tough and demanding, but it is also an exciting time to explore every fields, meet new people, and discover yourself!"
