Josephine Wilson '26
Josephine is a senior concentrating in General Biology and plans to apply to an ABSN program after graduation, with hopes to later continue her education in CRNA school! On campus, Josephine is a member of the Biology Scholars Program, an ambassador for the College of Arts & Sciences, and an RA on North Campus. Her favorite course that she has taken at Cornell so far is BIOG 1445 (Intro to Comparative Anatomy & Physiology, Individualized Instruction). She appreciated the flexibility of the course while still having the incentive of due dates and encouragement of the incredible course staff! In her free time, Josephine enjoys spending time with friends, reading, cooking, and trying new coffee spots in the Ithaca area! In previous summers, she was a PSSP Peer Mentor and shadowed anesthesiologists. This past summer, Josephine took a summer course, volunteered at her local hospital, and worked at a coffee trailer!
Her words of encouragement for incoming students
“As difficult as it can be, try your best not to compare yourself to others. Remember, your journey is unique, so focus on your own progress and celebrate your achievements. Set realistic goals, take care of yourself, and don't hesitate to seek support when needed. Stay positive, cultivate gratitude, and remember that setbacks are temporary. You've got this!”
