Gillian Rzepka '26

Gillian Rzepka, is a junior concentrating in Neurobiology and Behavior, planning to take a gap year before Medical School. During her gap year she hopes to gain more clinical research skills. During her summers, she has worked at the Cleveland Clinic's Lerner Research Institute doing neuro-ophthalmic research in a neuroscience lab. At Cornell, she worked in a neuroscience lab focusing on psychedelic usage to improve mental health treatments. Gillian is also a member of Phi Delta Epsilon Medical Fraternity, and a facilitator at the Language Resource Center for weekly conversation hours in Spanish. Off campus she volunteers at Cayuga Med in the Surgical Waiting Room. In her free time Gillian loves yoga, trying new restaurants, reading, and cooking. 

 

Gillian's words of advice to incoming students:

"Take any opportunity you're given! You never know who you'll meet, what you'll do, or how it may help you in the future!"
