The Biological Sciences major is offered in both the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the College of Arts & Sciences. The major is administered by The Office of Undergraduate Biology.
Samantha Geis '24
Samantha is concentrating in Neurobiology & Behavior, with plans to take a gap year after graduation before attending medical school. On campus she is involved with Brain Exercise Initiative and HEART. She conducts neurobiology research in the lab of Dr. Andrew Bass. This past summer, she participated in the College of Arts and Sciences’ Nexus Scholars Program, working in a lab to investigate the behavior of Danionella. In her free time, Samantha enjoys self-care, reading classic novels, and watching Friends. Her favorite class at Cornell is BIONB 2220.
Her words of advice for incoming students are
“Don’t be afraid to try a little of everything to find out what you like.”
