Julia Zaccaria '24

Julia is an Animal Physiology concentrator and plans to go to medical school after graduation. She is part of the kidney disease screening awareness program at Cornell, which participates in community outreach and provided medical services to underserved individuals. She is involved in research in Dr. Hume's lab, a veterinary oncology lab. For fun she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, working out, and going out to eat. Her favorite class as been BIOMG 3300 - Biochemistry. In recent summers, Julia has worked at the Albert einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY, in a leukemia research lab as a research assistant. She has also worked for Health Plus Management, LLC organizing patient files and coordinating patient information between provided and healthcare management companies. She also tutors for Arstotle Circle Tutoring, INC.

Her advice for new students

"Take time to enjoy Cornell and being a student, while also recognizing how important it is to carve out time to do things you enjoy."
