Clery Act
The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act) is a federal law that requires colleges and Universities to disclose information about crime on and around their campuses. To be compliant with this law, Cornell AgriTech must publish an annual security report every year by October 1 containing three years of campus crime statistics and certain campus security policy statements that are disseminated to the campus community (all current students and employee) and prospective students and employees.

EMN Test Summary
On July 9 at 1:16pm, Cornell AgriTech conducted a semi-annual test of the CornellALERT emergency notification systems. This included the dissemination of the testing message to multiple communication platforms such as voice, email, and SMS (text) messaging campaigns, and the Rave Guardian app. Each of these platforms was monitored and assessed both during and after the test and determined to be successful.

In addition to the Annual Safety Report, Cornell AgriTech is required to publish an Annual Fire Safety Report that includes fire statistics for each on-campus student housing facility, including fire protection systems and evacuation drills conducted. The report also includes institutional policies, rules, and guidance documents concerning fire safety, such as procedures for student housing evacuation.
