The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act) is a federal law that requires colleges and Universities to disclose information about crime on and around their campuses. To be compliant with this law, Cornell AgriTech must publish an annual security report every year by October 1 containing three years of campus crime statistics and certain campus security policy statements that are disseminated to the campus community (all current students and employee) and prospective students and employees.
Cornell AgriTech’s Annual Security Report is designed to provide you with important information about the safety and security on our campus. In addition to outlining the details of the many programs the University offers community members, the report also contains statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings owned or controlled by the University, and on public property within; or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. You may obtain a copy of this report by contacting the Jessica Townley at jet239 [at] cornell.edu or by calling at 315-787-2236, or you can download the report.

In addition to the Annual Safety Report, Cornell AgriTech is required to publish an Annual Fire Safety Report that includes fire statistics for each on-campus student housing facility, including fire protection systems and evacuation drills conducted. The report also includes institutional policies, rules, and guidance documents concerning fire safety, such as procedures for student housing evacuation.
