Alumni Career Services

CUeLINKS

This online resource will allow you to connect with current Cornell students and allow you share your career insights and advice. It's a valuable resource for you to communicate with students about your experiences. Join CUeLINKS.

An extensive number of single job vacancies are also posted on‐line through Cornell Handshake. Cornell Handshake is open to alumni 0—5 years out from graduation. Log in using the username and password you had as a student. (Please call 607-255‐2257 if you need help retrieving your information.) If you graduated more than five years ago, you can search for Cornell alumni job postings by establishing an account at Cornell Handshake.

If you're interested in hiring Cornellians, you can post full-time and internship positions—helpful information is on the Support CALS page.

For those who are updating resumes, constructing cover letters, preparing for interviews and other job search activities, you can enroll in the Career Development Toolkit in Canvas with a Cornell netID and password; this site offers suggestions for resumes, cover letters, interviews, career path and much more.

Trained career counselors and advisors are available by appointment to discuss career and job search plans with CALS alumni, either in person or by phone. The counselors are certified to administer various interest inventories that may further facilitate the career counseling process. This option can be discussed on an individual basis. To arrange an appointment, please call the CALS Student Services office at 607-255‐2257 or email them at calscareer [at] cornell.edu (CALSCareer[at]cornell[dot]edu).
