As one of the top-ranked entomology programs in the country, the Department of Entomology's work spans the globe and affects human lives on many levels, influencing many disciplines such as human and veterinary medicine, farming, biodiversity and genomics.

The Department of Food Science offers comprehensive undergraduate and graduate programs which prepare students for leadership positions in the food industry, academia and government. Their research expands understanding of the biological/microbiological, chemical, physical, sensory, nutritional and engineering properties of foods and beverages.

As the only horticulture program in the Ivy League, we work to shape food systems and landscapes. Their faculty includes over 40 scientists across New York who discover and share knowledge of fruits, vegetables and landscape plants.
