What is the most memorable or impactful experience of your career so far?
I've enjoyed moving from a non-environment academic background to gaining experience with the IUCN.
What big challenges do you want to tackle in your country?
The areas I am most passionate about are to engage people in natural resource management, to promote community rights to get equal access to natural resources, and to ensure that protected areas are co-managed.
How do you think your Humphrey Fellowship and your time at Cornell will help boost your career?
The Humphrey Fellowship will boost my professional connections and will help me learn about new conservation interventions and policy reform.
What does public service mean to you?
To me, public services entails services that are arranged and provided by the government in response to the public needs and interests for people well-being and social security.
What are you happiest doing when you're not working?
I enjoy watching movies, traveling, thai boxing, all kinds of music and wildlife.
What is your personal motto?
When you've put in the effort, 50% of your goal is already achieved.
