Humphrey Alumni Mr. Husnain Afzal (2020-21) shares his work at the WAPDA - Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority. Since returning home, he has assisted the Chairman of WAPDA on all ongoing mega hydropower projects. During his fellowship, he completed his PA with the SEI - Stockholm Environment Institute. Mr. Afzal focused on Pakistan's water infrastructure planning and management challenges. Given his current role, he has established a connection between the SEI and WAPDA. As a result, both organizations have agreed to a partnership. They are collaborating to develop a training program for Pakistani engineers and scientists focused on building capacity around the themes of climate change, robust decision making, integrated water resources management, and valuing water
