M.G. Rajamanickam is a distinguished Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer known for his strategic vision and transformative leadership. Originating from the village of Thiruvathavur in Tamil Nadu, Rajamanickam embodies the values of determination and hard work. His academic credentials include a Gold Medal in MTech from Anna University and a Master’s in Public Policy from King’s College, London, providing him with a robust foundation for innovative governance.

In his role within the Kerala government, Rajamanickam has been a staunch advocate for environmental sustainability and climate change mitigation. His notable initiatives, such as ‘Ente Kulam Ernakulam’ for pond conservation and ‘Anbodu Kochi’ for disaster relief, reflect his commitment to sustainable development and community welfare. His exceptional contributions have earned him accolades, including the 'Best District Collector Award' from the Government of Kerala.
