Nelly Sandrine ADA MENIE is a dedicated agriculture expert with a robust background in research and agronomy. She earned her engineering diploma with a major in agronomy and a focus on crop production, followed by a master's degree in crop genetics and breeding from China. During her graduate studies, Nelly gained valuable experience as a research assistant, working on projects related to the characterization of Quantitative Trait Loci (QTL) and gene expression analysis for yield-related traits in maize.

Currently, Nelly serves at the Direction Générale de l’Enseignement, de la Formation, et de la Recherche Agricole at the Ministry of Agriculture in Gabon. In her role, she supports the development and coordination of national policies and strategies for agricultural research and education. Her responsibilities include writing meeting reports, drafting annual activity and budget plans, preparing research proposals, and seeking government partnerships to promote sustainable agricultural development.

Outside her professional duties, Nelly manages a farm where she oversees various activities, including recruiting and training workers, planning farm operations, and managing the procurement and sale of agricultural inputs. Her diverse experience in both research and practical agriculture underscores her commitment to advancing the field and supporting sustainable practices.
