Joel Appora-Gnekindy is the Deputy Head of Project at Welthungerhilfe, where he specializes in program implementation, data privacy, and IT solutions. Originally from Bangui, Central African Republic, Joel’s work is deeply rooted in addressing critical challenges related to food security and sustainable agriculture in fragile contexts.

With a professional background in managing complex projects and providing strategic direction at Welthungerhilfe, Joel ensures rigorous adherence to data protection policies. He holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology Management and has earned certifications in project management, digital marketing, and geospatial information technology.
