Muhammad Yahya Aftab is a development practitioner, researcher, and activist from Lahore, Pakistan, focusing on rural development and agrarian change. He is curious about the impact of agrarian development on local political economies and food systems. Muhammad seeks to understand challenges such as hunger and environmental degradation from a community-centered point of view, and explore possibilities to strengthen disenfranchised communities to face said challenges on their own terms. He is currently an MPS student in Global Development at Cornell University.
