We are fueled by a commitment to empowering the next generation of agricultural leaders. A diversity of perspectives is needed to tackle the challenges of agricultural sciences in every corner of the world.

We are seeking enhanced partnerships with a diverse range of agricultural operations to provide students with expanded internships in both traditional and emerging areas, including field experiences and networking opportunities that further connect education with real world applications.

The curricular focus will remain aligned with CALS requirements and maintain broad representation of the many disciplines integrated into the Agricultural Sciences major. Flexibility of offerings creates a vibrant interdisciplinary educational experience enhanced by opportunities to pursue minors in supporting areas.

The Agricultural Sciences major housed in CALS is steeped in the Land-Grant mission with an ever-present eye towards the rapidly approaching future and improving our understanding of the natural world and our role in supporting the nourishment of everyday life.
