Jackie Sayegh currently works as an Administrator for Cornell University’s Institute for African Development. The institute situates Africa and development within interdisciplinary networks of instruction, research and practice. Working with experts in all three areas highlights the multifaceted nature of development challenges. Jackie attended the University of Liberia where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in English and History, and Cornell University where she studied African Literature. Her work focuses on studying indigenous norms, coping strategies, and associational structures to better understand and support displaced women and youth.
