Xinru Liu holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from the Communication University of China and a Master’s in Design Management from Pratt Institute, New York. In 2020, she founded Eversong, a pioneering brand that blends traditional Chinese medicine with modern nutritional science, promoting sustainable eating under the motto “EAT, BALANCE, THRIVE.” Eversong’s innovative approach was recognized with the 2022 "Model Case of the Year" by the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation and the 2021 China Food Systems Action Hub Innovation Award. Beyond entrepreneurship, Xinru has contributed as a teaching assistant at the Osaka Institute of Technology and a researcher and designer at Planet Forward Lab, focusing on sustainability projects. In 2023, she led the “Meatless Monday” initiative as project manager and designer under the Good Food Fund, further advancing plant-based eating in China. With a clear vision and innovative spirit, Xinru Liu continues to drive meaningful change in sustainable food systems, merging tradition with future-forward solutions.
