Sieun is a passionate student from South Korea, focusing on food security, monitoring and evaluation process primarily in Africa. She holds Bachelors of Arts in French Language and Literature, and International Development Cooperation.

Prior to attending Cornell, she did several internships at the Korea International Cooperation Agency, a university research institute, and the World Food Program (WFP). In. these roles, she collected data and analyzed trends of development projects and outputs. Her internship at WFP was hosted at the Guinea office, which provided her an opportunity to observe the monitoring process in the field.

As a Master of Professional Studies (MPS) student in Global Development, she will focus on international agriculture and rural development, especially ways to improve efficiency with clear data and evaluation practices.
