Elaina Bhame

Title: Great Lakes Water Resources Technician

Elaina joined WRI in 2026 as the Great Lakes Water Resources Technician for the NYSDEC’s Great Lakes Program. She worked with the DEC in the Finger Lakes Watershed Program as an Environmental Engineering Technician for 1 year before joining WRI. In her current role with the Great Lakes Program's Science Team, she participates in the coordination of water quality research and monitoring projects in New York State’s Great Lakes Basin. Elaina has both a B.S. in Environmental Science and a B.A. in Environmental Studies. In her free time, Elaina enjoys hiking with her dogs, crafting, and traveling.
