Anna is the Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) Research and Outreach Specialist working with WRI and the Invasive Species Coordination Section of the NYSDEC. Anna obtained her Ph.D. from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, where she researched the host-pathogen relationship between invasive round gobies and viral hemorrhagic septicemia virus in habitats of the Thousand Islands region of the St. Lawrence River. Anna will be collaborating with WRI’s regional AIS coordinators and other state, federal, and academic partners to produce state-wide research and outreach initiatives pertaining to the impacts, management, and prevention of AIS.
