Brynna serves as the Aquatic Invasive Species Technician in DEC Region 5 in Warrensburg, NY. She assists with the monitoring and detection of nonnative species in the region. Her primary tasks include backpack electrofishing and environmental DNA surveys for round goby in the Hudson River. Prior to working at WRI, she was an intern at the SUNY Oneonta Biological Field Station where she conducted a project on invasive mussels in Otsego Lake. Brynna graduated from SUNY Oneonta with a B.S. in Biology in 2024.
