Access and Community Empowerment (ACE) and the Department of Food Science
The Department of Food Science at Cornell University is committed to valuing and respecting all people to achieve its mission of creating and applying knowledge for enhancing the safety, quality, sustainability, security, availability, and wholesomeness of the global food system.
Current Food Science ACE Initiatives
- Connecting our students to each other through frequent undergraduate and graduate food science club events.
- Increasing applications and matriculation of students from a broader range of undergraduate schools to our graduate programs
- Connecting with external groups (e.g. K-12 schools) through the Food Science Community Outreach Committee.
