About

Julia is a freshman studying Environment & Sustainability with a self-designed concentration focusing on sustainable development. She is also pursuing minors in Sustainable Business and Economic Policy, and Policy Analysis and Management. Having lived in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Shanghai, she developed an interest in sustainable food systems, especially food waste and food security, after observing the unique urban challenges these cities face. She is pursuing her interest in sustainability by participating in sustainability initiatives in school. As the Adopt-a-Gorge liaison of the Society of Natural Resource Conservation, she works with Cornell Botanic Garden to clean up and help maintain the trails along Fall Creek Gorge.
