About

Gianna is majoring in Environment and Sustainability in the College of Agriculture and Life Science with an intended minor in Nutrition and Health. She spent much of her childhood in Southern California immersed in nature and exploring her developing passions.

She is now on a mission to contribute to transforming our food system from an ethical, environmental, and nutritional perspectives. In 8th grade, she produced a short-film discussing animal agriculture through an ethical and planetary lens, which deepened her understanding of and interest in the global food system. She is now studying Environment and Sustainability with a student-designed concentration that will focus on sustainable and ethical food systems.

On her free time, she loves exploring new cuisines, cooking, keeping up with her food Instagram, weight-lifting, and FaceTiming her two dogs.
