Khejhae Lee is an Assistant Director at the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety in South Korea, specializing in food safety management and international cooperation on Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) measures. With more than 15 years of experience spanning both the private sector and government, she has developed a deep understanding of the dynamic relationship between businesses and regulatory authorities.

Her career began as a researcher in the food industry, where she gained hands-on expertise in product development and safety standards. She later transitioned to public service at the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, where she has played a key role in shaping regulatory frameworks and strengthening food safety systems. Her work includes managing international cooperation on SPS measures, ensuring that food regulatory practices align with global standards and facilitate safe trade among partner nations.

Khejhae holds a B.S. in Food Science and Biotechnology from Kangwon National University and an M.S. in Agricultural Biotechnology from Seoul National University. Committed to advancing public health and regulatory excellence, she continues to contribute to strengthening food safety practices in South Korea and beyond.
