Jesús Paz Borjas is a seasoned professional in sustainable rural development and agribusiness, specializing in technical assistance and capacity building for the agricultural sector. As Technical Manager for a national program promoting sustainable rural and urban development, he oversees the design, implementation, and monitoring of projects in partnership with NGOs, private companies, and international organizations. His work prioritizes technical quality and long-term sustainability to enhance rural livelihoods.

Previously, Jesús provided technical expertise in animal nutrition for a leading multilatina company in Latin America, supporting poultry, cattle, swine, and aquaculture operations. He brings extensive knowledge of the Central American market and a strong commitment to fostering innovation and growth in agriculture.

Jesús also has experience in rural finance, where he evaluated and managed credit portfolios for agricultural clients, implementing risk management strategies to support small and medium producers.

He holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering and a Master’s in Business with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region. His master’s thesis explored the role of culture in the adoption of rural development programs in Honduras. By combining technical expertise with cultural and market insights, Jesús is dedicated to advancing sustainable agriculture through innovative, inclusive, and effective approaches.
