About

Martin is currently a Master's student in Agronomy. He received his Bachelor's degree from Miami University, majoring in Botany and Sustainability. Before attending Cornell, he worked on various small integrated livestock-vegetable farms in Southwestern Ohio.

Martin's Master's project in Dr. Virginia Moore's lab is on alfalfa breeding for seedling vigor and root development. He also works as a research assistant in the Department of Global Development on the MERLIN project(Modeling Environmental Ramifications of Livestock Intervention).
In his free time, Martin enjoys being outdoors: gardening, birding or playing soccer.
