Justine Sequeira

MPS, Global Development
What are the big challenges you want to tackle in the world?

I am interested in building agribusiness-centered climate finance models which enable investment in biodiversity as a public good.

What were you doing before the MPS program?

Prior to Cornell, I worked in agribusiness investment and operations management in East Africa, where I held leadership roles at cereal, cocoa, cotton, and vanilla companies and a rural impact fund. Previously, I was a management consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton in New York.

What has been the most memorable or impactful experience of your career so far?

I have had the unique privilege of seeing products I worked on in East Africa on the shelves of national retailers in the United States – 7,000+ miles from where they were made!
