What if a student's courses have been counted toward CALS distribution requirements differently in Stellic @ Cornell than they were in DUST?

A student’s courses may be assigned to distributions differently in Stellic @ Cornell than they were in DUST, and this is okay! Even though DUST and Stellic @ Cornell prioritize courses across distributions differently, the overall progress a student has made in completing their degree will be unaffected. If a student notices a mismatch in overall degree progress in Stellic @ Cornell, our office can help verify; please email us at cals-studentservices [at] cornell.edu (cals-studentservices[at]cornell[dot]edu.)

What if a course says it counts for a CALS distribution requirement, but the course doesn't show under that requirement in a student's Stellic @ Cornell record?

The student may have already completed that requirement with other courses, in which case, surplus courses would not show up in that distribution category. The approved distributions when the student took the course can be found in each semester’s Courses of Study. Students may contact cals-studentservices [at] cornell.edu (cals-studentservices[at]cornell[dot]edu) if they believe a course should have counted for a particular distribution.

What if a course should count for a major requirement and isn't showing up in Stellic @ Cornell?

As always, questions about major requirements should be directed to the student’s faculty advisor or that major’s advising coordinator.
