About
Mariah Doyle-Stephenson is an events coordinator for the Ashley School of Global Development and the Environment at Cornell University. She manages travel logistics for visiting speakers and provides assistance to Cornell students, staff, and faculty, supporting the seminar series for Tsujimoto Perspectives in Global Development, Critical Development Studies, and Natural Resources and the Environment. She also supports the Global Development Engaged & Experiential Learning symposiums.
Prior to joining Cornell, Mariah specialized in student and teacher engagement, curriculum design, and professional development at the k-12 level. She is passionate about teaching and learning and aims to create inspiration in her daily work through collaboration and innovation with others. Mariah holds a B.A. in art, with a minor in anthropology, from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. She brings over a decade of academic and administrative support skills, experience in the arts, and event planning expertise to her work at the Ashley School.
Mariah values Indigenous knowledge and her work includes collaborating with educators in Alaska to create an expansion of The Spiral Framework curriculum, celebrating traditional and modern knowledge of Alaska Native peoples. She loves being in the classroom, hosting events, and coordinating logistics to support education with impact.
In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the beauty of the natural world.
