Register early and save! Rates increase after May 1, 2023.

Rates are in US Dollars. Wire transfers to pay for registration will only be accepted until June 1.  After that date, payment must be by credit card.

Full conference (July 17 – July 20, 2002) registration includes:

• In-person admission to all conference sessions
• Transportation to and from hotel to conference sessions
• Lunch each day
• Wine reception on Monday
• Cornell AgriTech tour and dinner on Tuesday
• Industry tour and dinner on Wednesday
• Professional day and banquet on Thursday at Ithaca Yacht Club

Accompanying Person Registration includes:

• Wine reception on Monday
• Cornell AgriTech tour and dinner on Tuesday
• Industry tour and dinner on Wednesday
• Banquet on Thursday at Ithaca Yacht Club

Full registration is required to attend conference sessions

Professional Day:

Thursday, July 20 is the Professional Day where growers, winemakers, and other grape/wine industry personnel are welcomed to attend the conference with the goal of strengthening the exchange of knowledge and information among researchers and industry.  Attendees can join the meeting in person in Klarman Hall on the Cornell campus or join remotely via zoom. 

Post-Conference Tour:

This is a technical tour offered July 21-22, focusing on grape production in Western New York with a stop at beautiful Niagara Falls.  Price includes transportation, accommodation, dinner on July 21, breakfast and lunch on July 22. 

• Leave Ithaca in the afternoon on Friday July 21
• Travel to Niagara Falls for dinner and the night
• Morning of July 22 – tour Cornell’s viticulture research station in Portland, NY
• Visit a certified grape nursery (Double A Vineyards)
• Visit a winery (21 Brix)
• Return to Ithaca early evening on July 22

Cancellation Policies

• All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted to giesco22 [at] cornell.edu by June 1, 2023
• Cancellation of conference registration received on or before June 1, 2023 will receive a full refund.
• Cancellation of conference registration received after June 1 and before June 10 will receive a 50% refund.
• No refund is available for cancellation on or after June 10, 2023

Refund Payment Policy

Refunds will be retuned according to original payment method and process. Payments made by credit card will be refunded to the original credit card on file within 7 days of notification of cancellation. Payments made by check will be refunded by check from Cornell University and will take 4-6 weeks for processing.

Event Cancellation or Postponement due to COVID-19

If the conference must be cancelled due to federal, state, local or Cornell University policies related to gatherings of any kind or travel bans, refunds for registration fees will be granted within 14 days of notice of cancellation.
