Capstone Experience

Capstone classes foster students from multiple concentrations to practice integrative analysis related to sustainability.

E&S Capstone courses seek to provide students experiences that lead to the following learning outcomes: 

• Students will be able to integrate their knowledge base and skill sets gained from courses across the E&S curriculum, to achieve insight into the many facets of complex environmental and sustainability issues.    
• Students will learn to work collaboratively and effectively within an interdisciplinary group.    
• Students will present their perspectives or conclusions in at least one setting (classroom, public forum), and using at least two modes of communication (oral, written, visual, performance, online, etc.).
