Discover CALS

See how our current work and research is bringing new thinking and new solutions to some of today's biggest challenges.

Visit CALS

The CALS experience is unlike any other. See for yourself.

Choosing a college or university is a big decision that cannot be left entirely to facts and figures. Come explore Cornell University’s beautiful campus, and then go beyond the classroom to our fields, greenhouses and labs. Discover how you join our pursuit of purpose-driven science.

Before you arrive

Guided walking tours of campus take place throughout the year. A student will lead you through campus where you will see everything from the Clock Tower to Mann Library. The tour provides a good sense of the campus, and student tour guides will give you the inside information on Cornell life. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes.

Our one-hour Information Sessions are offered June through October on Mondays and Fridays. Focused on freshman admission, they include: an overview of CALS, an explanation of the admissions process, a glimpse into how the admission committee evaluates applications, and plenty of time to answer questions about both academic and student life.

Ever wonder what it is like to be in a college class? When school is in session (excluding summer), visitors may choose from several of CALS’ exciting and engaging courses to get a preview of what it is like to be a CALS student!
