My CALS moment was learning how to bottle feed calves at Ezra’s Farm on campus with my Domestic Animal Biology class!

What has been an academic highlight for you within your major? 

An academic highlight for me was being able to learn how to test rumen samples from Cows! It was a super hands on experience and we were able to see the samples under the microscope.

What is something you have been involved with outside of academics that is meaningful to you?

I am a part of guiding eyes for the blind, an organization that raises guide dogs for those who are visually impaired.

What are your post-graduate goals?

I am interested in going to vet school! I’m in animal science on the pre-vet track.
