MyCALSMoment

My CALS moment is being in Mann Library to concentrate on my studies, whether that be on the second floor doing homework with my friends or booking a study room for a more private space!

What has been an academic highlight for you within your major? 

Being able to join the Cohen Lab and be a member of such a welcoming lab environment. I am currently undergoing training as the lab is doing research projects regarding reproductive health!

Why is CALS a great fit for you?

CALS is a great fit for me because it lets me be flexible for the areas of studies that I wish to pursue, ranging from biology to economics in healthcare. It allows for a community of people from varying majors that want to reach the same goal of influencing the world.

What are your go-to campus resources?

The Office of Undergraduate Biology has faculty who can give me advice and upperclassmen students that can help me with classes they have taken. The Learning Service Center gives me extra practice for large lecture classes, such as for biology and chemistry.
