  • Minor: Applied Economics and Management

My CALS Moment would have to be when I was walking to my job at Friedman Wrestling Center, passing through the AG Quad only to find both a possum and a rabbit grazing on the grass. The sun was coming up and I couldn’t help but be in bliss that this is where I learn how to influence others through communication. Only in CALS!

What has been an academic highlight for you within your major?

The academic highlight within my major would be creating a hand-drawn visual analysis of how the cognitive processes of the brain work through visual information received from your eyes. It was a fabulous opportunity to show my creativity about something I find extremely interesting.

What has been an academic highlight for you outside of your major?

My 2285 Egyptomania class is the best class I've ever taken, and we were able to go to the Cornell Johnson Museum and explore the artifacts that relate to our curriculum.

What is something you have been involved with outside of academics that is meaningful to you?

I am a libero on the NCAA D1 Women's Volleyball team which has helped build discipline, team management, and everlasting connections with my fellow teammates.
