MyCALSMoment

During the first week of the Fall Semester, there was a mini-petting zoo and a fire show on the Ag Quad! Thank you to the club who hosted the event and the cute lamb who allowed me to carry her; a complete serotonin booster that made my day!

What has been an academic highlight for you within your major?

Being able to step outside my biology major and work with anthropological text and philosophy in ANTHR 2468 has been a fun time---Professor Langwick has been an amazing lecturer and facilitator of engaging conversations that have left me pondering hours after class.

What is something you have been involved with outside of academics that is meaningful to you?

Being in Threads I've been able to explore my interests in fashion and do what I love most (second to baking) which is makeup! I've also had the opportunity to find a home away from home and a supporting Latino community in the Sabor Latino Dance Ensemble this semester.

What are your go-to campus resources?

TAs!! TAs especially for STEM classes such as Chemistry 2070 are your best friend. They've been one of my biggest supporters since the beginning of my first semester here at Cornell.
