MyCALSMoment

My CALS Moment was attending AgFest last fall. Being able to meet so many other people in CALS, have fun with friends, learn more about CALS' student resources, and be able to help out new students made me so happy to be a part of it!

What has been an academic highlight for you within your major?

An academic highlight within my major has been my experience in Introductory Field Biology with Marc Goebel, who is the most encouraging and friendly instructor I've met at Cornell. His support for his students is unparalleled and being able to spend hours outside in field labs with friends creates an uplifting class environment.

What has been an academic highlight for you outside of your major?

An academic highlight outside of my major is when I started working at the Northeast Regional Climate Center as an undergraduate Research Assistant in the Spring 2025 semester. I've been able to gain valuable work experience in pursuing my passions and working with other like-minded students in my field for the common good.

What are your post-graduate goals?

After my time at Cornell, my biggest goal is to continue my education at the Florida Institute of Technology to pursue a Master's in Meteorology. I aspire to have a career focusing on Severe Weather and Aviation Meteorology.
