For the 21st year, Judy’s Day will celebrate the connections between plants and humanity, this year focusing on the lineage of plant families. An educational event for all ages, Judy’s Day will be held Sept. 30, from 1 to 5 p.m., under tents in the F.R. Newman Arboretum at Cornell Botanic Gardens, rain or shine.
The festival will include hands-on activities, tastings, storytelling and plant exhibits.
Created in memory of Judy Abrams (1940-96) by her family and friends to celebrate Judy’s love of life, work, kids and the natural world, Judy’s Day is supported by the Saquish Foundation and the SIRUS Fund.
Suggested donation: $5 per person. Free parking is at Cornell’s B-Lot off Route 366, with free shuttle bus to the arboretum.
