Portraits of a Microbiologist

The Portraits of a Microbiologist Seminar Series is an initiative led by current graduate students who strive to preserve the incredibly diverse stories of Cornell microbiology alumni through artistry and hosted lectures.

This series provides a platform where our community can learn from the unique experiences and achievements of our alumni, fostering a deeper appreciation for the varied paths and contributions within the field of microbiology. By celebrating these stories, we aim to inspire current and future students, promote a culture of inclusivity, and highlight the rich tapestry of backgrounds that have shaped our department.
