Driver and Criminal Background Checks

The University requires that a criminal background check be conducted for all staff and union positions. This must be completed before the first day of work. 

• The driver check is required for all positions where it was stated in the job description that a driver’s license was required.
• Once the candidate has electronically signed the offer, they will receive an information request from Sterling One / Talent Wise.
