Fall 2019 Grant Fellows Workshop for Early-career, Women Faculty

We are pleased to invite you to apply for a new Grant Fellows Workshop series for early career, women faculty across Cornell that will be offered in fall 2019. This workshop is designed to help grant-interested faculty produce a quality, review-ready proposal in just six weeks, with valuable information and support from grant-successful facilitators and invited faculty speakers. Topics covered will include trends and opportunities in grant making, integrated evaluation plans, how to uncover and identify gender biases, persuasive and compelling narrative writing, and effective supplementary materials. In addition, each participant will be assigned a grant-successful faculty reader in their field to give them detailed feedback on their proposal.

 The Grant Fellows Workshop will be offering one 6-session course for early-career, women faculty on the following dates from 11:00-1:30pm:

  • Friday, September 6th
  • Friday, September 13th
  • Friday, September 20th
  • Friday, September 27th
  • Friday, October 4th
  • Friday, October 11th

This offering is limited to early-career, women faculty.  Applicants must be able to fully attend all six sessions.

If you are interested, please submit an application by Monday July 1, 2019. We will notify applicants of their acceptance by Monday July 15, 2019. Due to a high demand, acceptance is not guaranteed for all applicants.
