Jennifer Tiffany, Ph.D. ’04, is the new executive director of Cornell University Cooperative Extension of New York City (CUCE-NYC). She has served as CUCE-NYC interim director since the unexpected death of former director Don Tobias in November 2013. In addition to her new role, Tiffany will continue to serve as associate director of Cornell Cooperative Extension in the College of Human Ecology. She is also director of outreach and community engagement for the Bronfenbrenner Center for Translational Research, which aims to improve connections between research and the design, evaluation and implementation of policies and practices that enhance human development, health and well-being.

“CUCE-NYC is uniquely positioned to advance Cornell’s efforts in extension/outreach, translational research and community engagement, and its close partnership with the Bronfenbrenner Center is a key asset,” said Tiffany. “I am committed to continuing CUCE-NYC’s strong partnerships with New York City communities, families and organizations, and to further developing our strong working relationships with Weill Cornell Medical College, ILR Extension, Cornell Tech and the Urban Semester Program.”
