CU ASLA is Cornell’s student chapter of the greater American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA). CU ASLA serves as a guiding support for undergraduate and graduate students navigating their time in the landscape architecture program. Through social events, workshops, and more--CU ASLA aims to weave a tight network of students, faculty, and professionals while ensuring that students get the most fulfilling experience during their time at Cornell. Some of CU ASLA’s past and current efforts include:
- Connecting with the local and national professional and student ASLA organizations
- Fundraising for student activities
- Facilitating connections/mixers among undergraduates, graduates, faculty, professionals, and other departments at Cornell University
- Community service
- Building social media presence and connections
The CU ASLA board is a team of both undergraduate and graduate students. Board roles are a great opportunity to connect with more students, get involved with the department to make a contribution, and develop valuable team and professional training/skills.
