Join us to learn about collaborative research from students at Cornell and the Universidad San Francisco de Quito (USFQ) in Ecuador!
A newly piloted course Culture, Communities, and Development: From Ithaca to Quito (GDEV/ANTHR 2505) is bringing together students from USFQ and Cornell in a comparative analysis of how community-based organizations are addressing affordable housing, public health, clean air and water, food security, and indigenous sovereignty in both Quito and Ithaca. USFQ students and faculty will present in this event as part of their week-long study abroad in NY.
This event is a special edition of TAD-POLE, a seminar series hosted by the Global Development Student Advisory Board. The course and research collaborations have been supported by the Global Hubs International Cornell Curriculum grant program, the Polson Institute for Global Development, and the Latin American and Caribbean Studies in the Einaudi Center for International Studies.
